About Us

The Southestern Massachusetts Round-Up, Inc (S.E.M.R.U.) is an incorporated, non-profit organization of Gays and Lesbians who join together to organize an annual convention to be known as the Southeastern Massachusetts Round-Up, an AA event with Al-Anon participation. We are a two to four day conference of persons in recovery, who observe the Twelve Steps and Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon. We offer workshops, information and social affairs which are intended not only to carry the message of AA and Al-Anon, but also to convey the spirit of joy, friendship, experience, strength and hope among those who share our special interest.

The committee meets at 6:30 p.m. every first Tuesday of the month at the Holiday Inn, Mansfield. All are welcome, we hope to see many of you there. Come join us for the first meeting of the 2009 SEMRU committee on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008.
